The first
coach purchased new by Invincible Coaches, 3888TR, a Thames Trader with
Burlingham Seagull 61 bodywork. This 41 seater coach was at the cutting
edge of style and design in the very early sixties. |

1963, 3888TR was replaced by 332YBF, a new Bedford VAL14 with Duple Vega
Major 52 seat bodywork. A newspaper article from 1963 enthuses: "The
£6,000 model has 3 axles with twin steering, twin hand power brakes
with overriding control. It also is fitted with heaters, wireless
and public address system." |
